Preservation Initiative
Developed over this last year remarkable progress has been made in this direction. The Preservation Initiative, born of our commitment to the overall well-being of the organization, is a long-term program which seeks to establish an endowment for the future of the organization. The Preservation Initiative looks to secure the Sculpture Gardens’ future by opening up a sound and viable avenue for donors. Donated funds will be used in the present for matters requiring immediate and urgent attention, as outlined by the Preservation Initiative Committee. They will be used in the long-term for the preservation of the organization's physical assets on into the future.

Rare Palm Gardens Master Plan
The Master Plan looks to complete the last phases of the development of the gardens. The Principles for the Gardens, our governing document, stipulates the conditions of development of our rare palm and native plant gardens. Internationally recognized as one of the largest collections of rare palms on view to the public, the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens continues to cultivate rare species in its gardens.

Artist Exhibition(s)
Our exhibition schedule features nationally or internationally recognized art and artist who's work reflects our mission and includes gallery installations and/or garden installation of sculpture. Artist’s openings draw from Palm Beach and neighboring areas including our members. Private events surrounding an exhibition are held.
Event: Multiple Artist’s Openings through Season
Sponsorship of entire season or individual events range is $5,000 for individual exhibition or $25,000 Season.
Annual Festival of Trees and Holiday House: December
The Festival of Trees (FOT) is the major annual fundraising opportunity in support of the Gardens and its mission. The FOT fundraiser utilizes the natural beauty, unique location and holiday time of the year. The funds from the event directly support ANSG programs and its ability to expand its visibility to the surrounding community. This year we are adding a “Holiday House” enhancing its appeal.
Event: Friday Dec 4, 2009 (6-9pm) 3rd Annual Festival of Trees & Holiday House “World Tour” Gala Opening
The evening begins when guests of all ages enter the historic home featuring rooms beautifully decorated by gifted designers, who have transformed the house into a magical blend of the holidays and trends in home decor. Once in the Gardens guests are delighted by musical performances, dancers and special guests from throughout the cultural community. They perform amongst the beautifully decorated live evergreen trees and travel through the gardens providing a back drop for the evening. Cocktails and fine foods make the evening a truly remarkable event while raising funds to support the Gardens and its Community Enrichment Program. Tickets are available by call (561) 823-5238.
Event: Dec 5-6 & 10-13 (5-8:30pm) 3rd Annual Festival of Trees and Holiday House “World Tour”
Enjoy the holiday season’s best event while strolling through the enchanted and magical gardens that only the Ann Norton Sculpture gardens can provide. Over 25 live decorated evergreen trees adorn the gardens featuring themes from around the world. Our historic home will be beautifully decorated and feature rooms by gifted designers, who have transform the house into a magical blend of the holidays and trends in home décor. Sponsorship: Title Sponsorship $25,000 with a possible 3 year naming sponsor. $15,000 supporting sponsor and individual sponsorship areas ranging from $5,000-2,500.
Literacy Days at the Gardens- December and January
In partnership with the Literacy Coalition, ANSG created a unique, one of kind event that provides over 1000 students, including at risk populations, with new and creative ways to approach reading. Students are read to by authors, librarians, volunteers through a 3 day program giving them a new look at literacy. The Festival of Trees provides a one of a kind backdrop and children visit over 10 reading stations and create books of there own while seeing the beauty that is the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens. In 2008 teachers and students alike voted it there favorite school visit and can’t wait to return next year.
Event: December 9 & 10
Sponsorship: $12,000 to fully underwrite program and year long school visits
Ann Amazing Race at the Gardens
New event: Teams of four (adults) will race for prizes and fun throughout the Gardens and El Cid Historic Neighborhood by earning clues and performing skills of feat and chance to move to next location. Fun, Food and Drink while racing to raise money to support the Gardens. Team admission for the event $500 per team. Event starts and ends in Gardens. Those not racing can cheer teams on through.
Sponsorship: Event Name $7,500
Earth Days at the Gardens-April
Developed 2008 as a one day school event it is now a two day large-scale event with 10 additional small-scale earth days serving over 1600 students. This unique hands-one experience creates lasting environmental awareness and stewardship. Community partnership with other like organizations including: the Arthur Marshall Foundation, Kids Ecology Corp, Pine Jog Environmental Education Center, Palm Beach Palm & Cycad Society and Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach make this program far reaching and powerful.
Sponsorship: $10,000 event sponsor or $15,000 to fund 2009-2010 school visits
Member and Family Programs
This is our Young Family Membership program targeted at bringing new families to the gardens and creating lasting stewardship for the organization by providing tailored events that meet the social needs of our young families. Our safe, secure surroundings and location make us a desirable organization for families and our neighboring private schools which are the demographics we draw our young families from.
Moonlight Movie Nights
Enjoy a garden walk in the evening under the light of the moon. Bring a blanket and a picnic basket and watch your favorite Classic film with friends.
Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Small and intimate, Easter fun with the beautifully decorated Gardens, games and of course “the egg hunt”. Photos with a beautiful bunny! It is already becoming a wonderful annual tradition for families in the area.
Camp Out Night in the Gardens
The overwhelming success of easy, intimate and safe camping experiences for families lead to the original families dubbing themselves the “Pioneers”. New families are anxiously awaiting fall and spring camp outs for this next season.
Little Explores Club in the Gardens
3-6 Year Children Summer Program- June and August, Monday-Friday, 8:45-11:45. This program will site specific hands-on activities which incorporate visual art and nature and fun!
Trick or Treat-October 29th
First Annual Trick or Treat features state of the art decorations setting the stage for an exciting and safe trick or treat. Search for the Great Pumpkin and enjoy ghoulish snacks and witches brew.meet our favorite Goblins in costume. Prizes and Treats.
Sponsorship: $15,000 Annual Sponsorship of Member and Young Family Program. Individual Events $3,500 ea.
