Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens invites aspiring writers, including adults, college students or students-(grades 6-12) to participate in the workshops. Reservations necessary and space is limited.

 

Individuals interested in reading an original work should send a submission for consideration to be reviewed by a panel of professional authors and educators. Submissions are limited to one type written page and should be sent via email. Please put in the subject line Read-Write-Recite Submission.  Student submissions-grades 6-12 should include, parent or guardian's name and email contact and cell phone number as well as the student's name, school and grade.

 

Guest Readers:

The Gardens also welcomes guest readers and writers to recite; poems featured in the exhibition, original works created during the workshops as well as digitally submitted original works.

 

Student awards are generously provided by Kids’ Dreams Inc. Student authors of selected juried works will be invited to read their original poem or essay at the event and will receive a journal and a Barnes and Nobel Gift Card. Admission is free for the event but space is limited.
