Literacy Days at the Gardens The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens' is pleased to present its 2nd Annual Literacy Days, "Thank you for an absolutely fabulous field trip! In my 16 years of teaching, I believe it is the best I have ever had the pleasure of attending. All staff and students agree with me on that! Kudos to you and all participating who made Literacy Day at the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden a HUGE success! We can't wait until next year! " |

In partnership with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County and Palm Beach County Library. Sponsored by Palm Beach Prayer Team Ministries and funded in part by TD Bank, this unique, one of kind event provides over 1,000 students, including children at-risk, with a new and creative approach to reading. Students are read to by authors, librarians, and volunteers through a 2 day program designed to inspire and educate them on literacy. The Festival of Trees provides a unique backdrop and children visit over 10 reading stations, create books of there own, and enjoy the unique beauty that is the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens. Teachers and students alike voted it there favorite school visit and can’t wait to return next year.
