Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to rent the Gardens?
Pricing is tailored to the number of guests and time of year. Please call our office 561.832.5328 to speak with our Wedding Coordinator regarding prices.
How far in advance do you take reservations?
We book up to 18 months in advance.
Do I need an appointment to see the Gardens?
It is recommended that you schedule an appointment during our operational hours which are Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
How much is the deposit to reserve a date?
A deposit of 50% of the facility rental cost is due at time of booking and the balance is due no later than one week before the event. Your date cannot be reserved without a deposit and signed contract.
How many guests can the Gardens accommodate?
Up to 175 guests, with a typical wedding being between 75 and 150 guests.
Is a rehearsal fee included in the rental fee?
If scheduled within our normal operating hours, the rehearsal fee is typically waived. To book a rehearsal outside of our business hours, with the ending being no later than 6pm, a fee of $100 applies.
What time can my function start and when must it end?
Our grounds are open to the public Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, with a combination event lasting no longer than 5 ½ hours and must end no later than 11:00pm by City Ordinance.
What kind of music can I have at my event?
The use of amplified music is limited and must meet the city noise ordinance. Please contact us for recommendations.
Is there parking available?
Valet parking is mandatory as there is no on street parking except for the bridal vehicle. We have a reliable company for this service.
What happens if it rains on the day of my event?
A tent as well as a cook’s tent is included in the wedding package. Prices would remain the same in case you decide not to use the tent.
May I bring my own food?
No. We have a list of licensed caterers that we use exclusively; they are familiar with our facility and can make your event a beautiful experience for you and your guest.
May I bring alcohol?
All alcoholic beverages must be purchased and served by one of our preapproved caterers who have proper licensing for alcohol service in the City of West Palm Beach.
Must I rent chairs, tables, linens, etc.?
All chairs, tables, etc. must be provided by the caterer or vendor on our preapproved list. All set-up and break-down will be done by the same caterer or vendor.
Does the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens provide a dressing room?
Yes. You and your bridesmaids may use our upstairs dressing area and restroom.
May I decorate in the House or Gardens?
The house is an “as is” basis – no decorations are permitted. In the Gardens, decorating is permitted, pending approval by the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens. Nothing can be glued, stapled or nailed. All
decorations must be free standing and must be removed immediately following your event. No plants or landscaping can be disturbed.
May we throw flower petals?
Yes, live petals or bubbles may be used in the Gardens. Balloons, confetti, or other inorganic materials will not be allowed.
May I use candles?
Candles are allowed in the Gardens, providing they are contained in appropriate vessels and placed on a flat surface.
May I come early to have formal photographs taken?
If your event is booked here, you may take photos anytime during your rental hours.
We are a smoke-free facility!!
As a green space, we do not allow the use of plastic glasses, plates, utensils, etc. and recycling guidelines must be followed.
