5th Annual Earth Days at the Gardens

Earth Days, developed April 2008, has served
more then 3,000 students.  This unique hands-on experience teaches environmental education, conservation, and stewardship. Through this program the Gardens has created permanent community partnerships with other like organizations. 

 

2012 Presenters:  Arthur Marshall Foundation,  Preservation Foundation, Solid Waste Authority, Beekeepers Association, Resource Depot, Resource Depot, Daggerwing Nature Center, Palm Beach County Library, Palm Beach Stae College, Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office, Florida Public Archaeology and more.  Together we provide a comprehensive environmental science experience.  Offering year-round Palm Beach County approved environmental science curriculum (K-10) makes everyday...Earth Days at the Gardens

Ann Weaver Norton recognized the significance her vital green space would have on a developing West Palm Beach. It was her specific intention that her 1.7 acre sculpture gardens featuring 300 species of palms, her 9 monumental sculptures, and her art studio be left for the enjoyment and education of the community and that the gardens remain a mini-ecosystem where plants and animal species could continue to cultivate.
