Donations

Donations and gifts are a way in which to express your support of the Gardens. Tributes or commemorative gifts provide you with an opportunity to honor others. Perhaps for a special occasion, or to mark a milestone or in honor of those whose memory you wish to note.  As a National Historic Site including the home, artist studio, art and archives and gardens of the artist Ann Norton there are many ways in which your support can make a substantial contribution to the long term health of this organization.

Preservation Gift
In 2009 the Preservation Initiative (link) was established to address the long term health of the physical assets of the organization.  In particular the care of the 9 monumental works in brick and stone need ongoing restoration due to the physical elements of being permanently constructed on site. Gifts to this project may be made in any amount. Suggested gifts to the Preservation Initiative are $500 and above.

Trees
Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens is one of the largest collections of rare palms in the southern United States.  A tree dedication is a living memorial which provides a unique opportunity to participate in a personal way in the future growth of the Sculpture Gardens.

• All trees are chosen in conjunction with the Garden Consultant, using our “Principles for the Garden”  and meet the needs for rare or native plants.
• Each tribute tree will have  a tribute plaque along with the trees information and will be placed at the base of the plant in honor of the family member, friend, or organization.
• Honoree or their family receives a complimentary Family Level Membership  for one year.
• Acknowledgement letters are sent to the donor as well as to the gift recipient or their family.
• All gift amounts are confidential.

Tree dedications are available with a donation of $1,000.00.

Benches

The benches at Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens are an integral part of the landscape.  They are placed in a way to offer you a view and a moment to reflect and absorb the sites and sounds of your beautiful surrounding.

• Each bench will contain a personal inscription inscribed on a prominent  plaque located on the bench.
• The Donor Family receives a complimentary Patron’s Level   membership for one year and is entitled to its benefits.
• The Honoree Family receives a Family Membership.
• Acknowledgement letters are sent to the donor as well as to the gift recipient or their family.
• All gift amounts are confidential

Tribute benches are available with a donation of $5,000.00
