Educational Group Tours

Experience this cultural gem in a surprising and informative interactive guided group tour.                                                                                    

It was Norton’s specific intention that her work, art studio, and sculpture gardens be open for the enjoyment and education of the community. The goal of a visit to the Gardens is to explore the life, artwork, cultural influences and artistic process of artist Ann Weaver Norton.  View visiting national/international exhibitions and enjoy a hands-on visual art, environmental science or writing workshops.  Palm Beach County approved curriculum (K-10) with Sunshine State Standard benchmarks.

SCHEDULING ADULT AND STUDENT TOURS AND WORKSHOPS

• Please allow three weeks to schedule your visit.
• The day and time of your visit is by arrangement.
• Student tours are approximately 45 minutes long.  Tours combined with workshops are approximately 1½ -2   hours long.
• The cost is $5.00 per student for guided tours. Discount pricing available for Title I Schools 
• A tour with a workshop is $8.00-$10.00 per person (minimum 15 students).
• Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
• Please be sure to apply sunscreen before your visit as part of your experience will take place outdoors and visitors may be exposed to sun.
• Students can bring a bag lunch to enjoy in the garden courtyard at the completion of your tour but must remove all their trash with them as they depart.

STUDENT ETiQUETTE

• Students are expected to be good listeners and respectful to tour guides during their presentation.
• Visitors should not touch any of the artwork or plants.  This is to protect the artwork and to protect our visitors against allergic reactions to any of the plant species.
