K-10 Curriculum and Educators' Resource
The goal of the ANSG curriculum is to provide a learning environment that teaches to multiple intelligences, is interdisciplinary in nature and offers engaging opportunities for students to experience environmental sciences and visual arts within real world context. The unique Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens and Kids Ecology Corps partnership features interactive, hands-on field experiences where students discover and immerse themselves in the urban green oasis and ecosystems Ann Norton preserved. By observing the direct connection between Ann’s art and other disciplines, students discover innovative ways to apply creativity, critical analysis and strategic thinking in a unique and challenging environment. Student dicoveries include: direct carving, plaster model making, scale enlarging, lost wax casting, eco-systems, ecology. plant identification, matter and biodiversity.
The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens offers Palm Beach County School District approved curriculum in visual arts, language arts, and science.
