Culture in Palm Beach County permeates virtually all aspects of our community – sometimes in obvious ways and other times unexpected.
The 2011 Muse Awards will celebrate individuals and organizations in our community that have demonstrated excellence in cultural contributions that have enhanced Palm Beach County on many, many levels.
Please join the Cultural Council, event co-chairs Irene Karp and Jean Sharf, honorary co-chairs Mr. and Mrs. Alexander W. Dreyfoos and the 40-member honorary committee as the 2011 Muse Award recipients are celebrated at a gala dinner and a highly entertaining awards show on February 10 at the Kravis Center. The evening will focus on honoring the 2011 Muse Award recipients, their contributions to our community and the wonderful cultural climate we enjoy many ways, every day in Palm Beach County.

Excellence in Historical and Cultural Heritage – Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival
Excellence in Arts and Cultural Outreach – VSA Florida - Palm Beach County
Excellence in Arts Integrated Education – Center for Creative Education
Outstanding Festival – Festival of the Arts Boca
Outstanding Collaboration – Ann Norton Sculpture Garden
Outstanding Philanthropist – Melvin and Claire Levine
Clyde Fyfe Award for Performing Artists – Shawn Berry
The Council’s Choice Award – MLK Coordinating Committee

Proceeds from the event benefit the Cultural Council’s arts and cultural education programs.
The Muse Awards take place Thursday, February 10, at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Individual
tickets are $250 and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
