Duaiv, Cellist and Painter

Born in   France , Duaiv started his musical journey at the age of 8 years old when he met the famous cellist Pablo Casals at the Prades Festival.
From 1960 to 1977 he studied with the following:
-1960 - 1964: Classes with Robert Salles
-1964 - 1968;  Classes with Carlo Gessi at La Rochelle  Conservatory of Music.
-1968 - 1970:  Preparatory studies with Erwan Faure for acceptance at the
Conservatoire   National Superieur de Paris..
-1971 - 1975: Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris: pupil of  Master Bernard
 Michelin.

1976 till 1977: Solo Cellist with the Unesco Orchestra in Paris. At the same time, Duaiv
perfected his studies in Chamber Music with the Parenin Quatuor.

Duaiv who plays a 1876 CA. Miremont Cellohas been featured in numerous concerts and recitals in Europe, South America, North America and Tunisia where he resided for a short while. He keeps attending master classes on a regular basis with Master Alexander Ivaskin.

Since 2002, Duaiv made South Florida his home dividing his time between continuous studies and practice of his favorite instrument the cello and his very successful international painting and decorative activities.

Sabrina Fernadez Pianist

Originally born in Cannes, France to French and Filipino parents, 18 year-old Sabrina Fernandez began taking piano lessons at the age of 4. By the age of the 10, Sabrina had already made her solo debut recital performing a full program on  “Historical Instruments” such as Bach on a two-keyboard manual Harpsichord, Mozart on a London-built 1810 FortePiano and Beethoven on an 1860 Broadwood grand piano. She made her orchestral debut at the age of 11 performing the Haydn Piano Concerto in D major, No. 11 with the Pro Arte Chamber Ensemble during their “Young Artist” concert serie
After the success of her orchestral debut, she was invited back to perform the Mozart Piano Concerto in A major, K. 488 with the orchestra the year after.Other notable performances with orchestras soon followed, including the Florida Youth Orchestra, the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra (Florida) and the Interlochen Philharmonic (Michigan). In March 2006, Sabrina performed the Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor with the New World Symphony in Miami, Florida under the baton of Chelsea Tipton III.
A former student of the Music Preparatory at the Conservatory of Music at Lynn University in Boca Raton Florida, Sabrina has been studying under the guidance of Mr. Phillip Evans (former piano professor at both Julliard and Manhattan Schools of Music) from Boynton Beach for the past 7 years. In summer of 2006, she participated in master classes held at the Nice Music Academy in Nice, France and performed the Mendelssohn Piano Trio in D minor in recital.

Among the most notable awards Sabrina has earned, they include the 2006 New World Symphony Concerto Winner, 2005 Interlochen Center of the Arts Concerto winner, 2005 Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra Concerto winner, 2004 Starz of the Future’s Instrumentalist winner, 2nd place at 2005 Robert Strassburg Piano Concerto competition and at Lynn University’s Young Artist Concerto competition in 2004, the 2002 Florida State Music Teacher’s Association Piano Concerto winner and most recently runner-up at the 2006 Blüthner Junior Piano competition.

Sonia Shklarov, violin

Canadian violinist Sonia Shklarov has had extensive musical experience, including solo recitals since the age of twelve, orchestral performances of works such as Mahler's Second Symphony and Shostakovich's Fifth, and premiers of chamber works by composers such as James Stephenson. She was a National Finalist for the Canadian Music Competition in 2002, and has won numerous Gold Certificates in the Kiwanis Music Festival, Calgary.

She has a strong passion for orchestral playing, and has traveled with her Youth Orchestra to New Zealand and Spain. She played under the batons of Hans Graf (Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra), Mario Bernardi (Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra), Alain Trudel (Orchestre Symphonique de Laval), Albert-George Schram, and Jon Robertson. She has spent summers at the Banff Center for the Arts Summer Festival, the Quartet Program in SUNY Fredonia, Las Vegas Music Festival, Domaine Forget, and the Orford Arts Center.

From the age of twelve, Shklarov was a student at Academy of Music at the Mount Royal College in Calgary, Canada. In addition to her main teachers, Shklarov has studied with Elmar Oliveira (Lynn University), Sylvia Rosenberg (Manhattan School of Music), Charles Castleman (Eastman School of Music), Kai Gleusteen (Concertmaster of the Barcelona Orchestra), and the late Lorand Fenyves (Glenn Gould School, Canada).

Shklarov was born in Moscow, Russia, grew up in Israel, and later Calgary, Canada, where she started her violin studies at the age of eight. She is currently completing her Undergrad at Lynn University, under Elmar Oliveira.
